Linha de Crédito is Mercado Pago’s financing method that lets the buyer pay in installments without a card.

With this line of credit, managed by Mercado Pago, the full purchase amount is credited to the seller while the customer can pay in up to 12 fixed monthly installments, with no card required. To use it, they only need to access (or create) a Mercado Pago account, check their available limit, and choose the number of installments.

To show Linha de Crédito in your store’s checkout, follow the steps below.

1. In your store admin, go to Settings > Payment methods.

2. Find Mercado Pago in the payment methods list.

3. In the list of payment methods, find the Mercado Pago plugin and click Edit settings.

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click More settings on the Mercado Pago site.

5. On the checkout settings screen, enable Linha de Crédito.

6. Finally, click Save changes.
