We have updated the documentation for the Mercado Pago Cards plugin on the Shopify platform to indicate that using email as the contact method that customers must provide to receive order notifications is mandatory for processing payments with Mercado Pago.

We've added the description of the external_id parameter to the POS API. This field is used to indicate the unique ID of the cash register as defined by the integrating system.

We've updated the Mercado Pago SDK for .NET to version 2.4.0 and also the compatible versions, which are .NET Standard 2.1+ and .NET Framework 6.0+.

The parameters “additional_info” and “ticket_number” are no longer required in the request to Create payment intent API of Point devices from Mercado Pago.
