# MD for: https://www.mercadopago.com.br/developers/pt/docs/nuvemshop/additional-settings/plugin-migration.md \# Migrate to the new plugin If you already have a previous implementation of the Mercado Pago plugin on Nuvemshop in its native version, you need to migrate to the new version. Follow the steps below to do so. > WARNING > > To perform the migration correctly, you must be logged into the Mercado Pago account you use to receive payments. ## Install the new plugin 1\. In your Nuvemshop store's Admin Panel, go to \*\*My apps\*\* > \*\*View all apps\*\*. 2\. Search for the \*\*Mercado Pago\*\* payment method and click \*\*Install\*\*. 3\. Give your consent to the application permissions and click \*\*Accept\*\*. 4\. You will be redirected to Mercado Pago, where you must log in with your account. Click \*\*Allow\*\* to authorize the connection. > NOTE > > At this moment, both versions of the plugin will be installed in your store, ensuring that payments continue to work normally during the migration. ### Configure the new plugin After installation, the new application will be available in the Apps section. \*\*You will need to configure the payment methods again\*\*, since previous settings are not automatically migrated. 1\. In the left sidebar menu, go to \*\*Settings\*\* > \*\*Payments and Shipping\*\* > \*\*Payment methods\*\*. 2\. Find the \*\*Mercado Pago\*\* app and click \*\*Activate\*\* to start configuring the payment methods. After confirming that everything is working correctly, proceed to the next step. ## Disable the old plugin With the new application installed, you need to disable the old plugin. > WARNING > > Be careful not to disable the new version. 1\. In your Nuvemshop store's Admin Panel, go to \*\*My apps\*\*. 2\. Find the Mercado Pago plugin in the payment methods list and click \*\*Disable\*\*.
