\# Pix Pix is an instant electronic payment method offered by the Central Bank of Brazil to individuals and businesses. \*\*Mercado Pago Pix\*\* is an application that lets you receive payments via QR code or by using the Pix "Copy and Paste" feature. This option guarantees immediate transaction approval and offers the lowest \[fee\](https://www.mercadopago.com.br/costs-section#from-section=menu) for receiving payments. > WARNING > > To enable Pix payments, you must have your \*\*pix keys\*\* registered. If you haven't already, \[click here\](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60tApKYVnkA) for more information on how to register them. :::::AccordionComponent{title="Install Mercado Pago Pix" pill="1"} You can install Mercado Pago Pix through the Shopify panel or via the Marketplace, choose the option that best fits your needs. ::::TabsComponent :::TabComponent{title=" Install from the Shopify Admin Panel"} You can install the Mercado Pago Pix app from your \[Shopify\](https://accounts.shopify.com/store-login) admin panel. To do so, follow these steps: 1\. Log in to your \[Shopify\](https://accounts.shopify.com/store-login) store with your credentials. 2\. From the left menu, select \*\*Payments\*\*. 4\. To finish linking your store with your Mercado Pago account, follow the instructions in the "Configure Pix from Mercado Pago" section. ::: :::TabComponent{title="Install via the Marketplace"} To install the Mercado Pago Pix app through the Marketplace, follow these steps: 1\. Go to the \[Mercado Pago Pix\](https://apps.shopify.com/mercado-pago-pix-1) app page in the Marketplace and click Install. 2\. Review the requested permissions and click \*\*Install\*\* to confirm. The app will be successfully installed from the Marketplace. ::: :::: ::::: :::AccordionComponent{title="Configure Pix from Mercado Pago" pill="2"} Once the app is installed, you need to link your Shopify store with your Mercado Pago account. This step ensures Pix payments are processed securely. > NOTE > > After linking your store to a Mercado Pago account through an app, you won't need to repeat this process when installing other Mercado Pago apps in Shopify. If you have already completed the configuration, you don't need to do it again. Follow these steps: 1\. In the Mercado Pago admin panel in Shopify, click \*\*Start linking\*\* to begin the process. Click \*\*Link account\*\* and accept the requested permissions for Mercado Pago to process payments securely and integrated. You can decide whether buyers complete their payment on an external Pix page (redirect) or stay within your store's checkout (modal). Steps: 1\. In Shopify admin, go to \*\*Settings\*\* > \*\*Payments\*\*. 2\. Locate and select the \*\*Mercado Pago Pix\*\* app. 3\. On the next screen, click \*\*More actions\*\* > \*\*Manage\*\* to access the Mercado Pago admin panel in Shopify. 4\.
